Gist HR Graduate Scheme
Gist’s Human Resources Graduate programme will provide in depth experience and knowledge in both corporate (based in Head Office) and unionised (based at site) HR environments.
Through a series of placements you will gain experience in resourcing, industrial relations, training and development, HR strategy, employment law and best practice.
As members of our management fast-track scheme, our graduates go as far and fast as their skills and potential merit-  As a graduate himself, our Chief Executive is testament to the heights exceptional performers can achieve.

Support
From your first day you’ll be allocated a board-level sponsor and as well as a personal mentor. Your mentor will be a senior manager who will give you overall support and guidance throughout the programme and often beyond. Additional mentors at each of your placements will offer you day-to-day support and provide local knowledge.
You’ll also be put in contact with a  former HR graduate ‘buddy’ prior to joining, to answer any questions you may have.
Your on-the-job learning will be complemented with a structured training programme incorporating various courses designed to develop your managerial skills.
In addition we will also sponsor you to complete your full CIPD qualification.

At Gist we look for:
• Talented graduates with the potential to become managers
• A minimum 2.2 degree in any discipline
• Mobility and flexibility – our graduates are based at several different sites across the UK and HR provides night clinics for night shifts as well as days.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• The right to work in the UK – we do not sponsor work-permit applications for graduate trainees
