STL is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons available for freelance language assistance, working in-house (Leidschendam or Beirut) or at home, under short-term contracts established on a daily or monthly basis, or for the performance of specific tasks.
TERMS OF REFERENCE:
• Provide transcription of audio or video files in Arabic and/or English and/or French
• Type (in Word format) handwritten or printed Arabic and/or English and/or French documents
• Perform other language tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in a language-related function.
• Languages: Fluency in oral and written Arabic, excellent knowledge of Lebanese spoken Arabic and very good command of written English and/or French.
• Other: Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. Demonstrated ability to use computer technology.
