Job Title: Managing Director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa)
Reports to: OpenX CEO
Location: London
Mission: To build a large, successful OpenX business in EMEA as quickly as possible.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Financial performance:
• Deliver strong top-line and bottom-line performance fast. Grow the team and cost-base in a prudent, revenue-led fashion.

2. Strategy:
• Rapidly develop and execute a clear, competitively differentiated strategy for growing OpenX’s business in EMEA

3. Strategic partnerships:
• Manage the partnership with Orange/France Telecom on the Orange Ad Market
• Build a wide array of creative partnerships with other players that can help OpenX

4. Sales/business development:
• Drive quick adoption of OpenX 3.0 Enterprise and technology services by major clients
• Drive the growth of the OpenX Market in other areas (Eastern Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, Middle East etc.) either through partnerships or direct OpenX activity

5. Operations:
• Ensure an excellent experience for all customers and partners

6. Leadership
• Build a very strong, high quality team in Europe
• Operate highly effective, seamless partnership with global teams based in the US
• Contribute extensively to overall OpenX business and product strategy and execution
• Build a strong OpenX brand in Europe through operational excellence and strategic media communications

Required Job Qualifications
1. Proven track record of building online businesses in Europe
2. Experience with the challenges and opportunities of building the regional operating arm of a US based company
3. Very comfortable with a start-up mode of operating: ambiguity, frugality, action > analysis etc.
4. Strong personal brand in the Europe internet space, including a robust network of relationships with the major players
5. Track record of building and leading great teams
6. Strong sales and service experience: able to personally sell the largest clients and ensure customer experience is excellent
7. Intense focus on operational details
8. Charismatic individual with high energy and very strong internal and external communication skills. Fluency in at least two major European languages (English, French, German & Spanish) is highly desirable. Experience handling press/media also highly desirable.
