TERMS OF REFERENCE

The Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S) in Berlin is seeking a highly experienced vendor to install, configure, and provide guidance and documentation for the Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) product.

Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.

BACKGROUND

The Secretariat has almost 200 staff and 250 computers primarily running Windows XP. We look to the SCCM product to upgrade our user base to Windows 7 and Office 2010.

Note that these documents are meant to serve only as a framework – the vendor is free to propose their own preferred approach.

Applications must contain the following elements:

• Vendor profile and experience.
• List of previous SCCM clients.
• Contact details for at least two independent referees with in-depth and proven knowledge of the applicant’s expertise and relevant work experience.
• Proposed high-level project plan, including start and end dates.
• Estimated costs.

TI retains the right to reject any or all of the applications and/or to enter into additional negotiations with one or more of the tendering parties.
