Management Specialist (Contractual Agreement) at United Nations Development Programme

UNDP Cambodia's aims to create an enabling environment for inclusive growth, private sector development and sustainable use of natural resources, to enhance government’s ability to deliver public services to the population in an efficient, effective, equitable and accountable manner, and to consolidate a participative democracy with a responsible civil society.
We work in three areas: Poverty Reduction, Democratic Governance, and Environment and Climate Change. Besides the three priority areas, UNDP is also engaged in crosscutting initiatives such as gender equality and accountability and transparency. UNDP Cambodia delivers an average of USD 35 million of development assistance a year under the national execution modality. UNDP activities are undertaken in partnership with the Government, civil society, NGOs, multilateral and bilateral donors, technical cooperation agencies, private sector entities, academia and research institutes, and other UN agencies.

Under the direction of the head of the Management Support Unit (MSU), the Management Specialist advises senior management and provides support to the full ambit of the Country Office (CO) activities as well as special advisory support to the Ministry of Environment and UNDP in its capacity of Trust Fund Manager for the Cambodia Climate Change Alliance (CCCA) programme.

The Management Specialist reports to the head of the Management Support Unit (MSU) and works in close collaboration with programme and operations team in the country office. The Management Specialist acts as an adviser to the CCCA UNDP Trust Fund Administrator based at the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Environment.
