What you’ll be doing
As the first point of contact for the Regional Director, you will provide a full range of professional administrative and secretarial support. You will deal with confidential information and sensitive issues reliably and respond to incoming mail on behalf of the Regional Director. You will also be required to attend, and where appropriate minute meetings, write conference papers, notes and action points on behalf of the Regional Director. You will be required to coordinate the flow of information between the Regional Director and the region and to ensure that issues are delegated appropriately. Additionally your role will include the diary management for the Regional Director and ensuring that the Regional Director is kept briefed during their absences from the office and on their return. As part of providing executive support you will develop contacts and manage external appointments for the Regional Director throughout the region, including government officials and other key stakeholders. An integral part of the role will be to manage travel arrangements as well as associated administration tasks.

What we are looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration and with substantial experience in providing executive and/or personal assistant support in a similar role. You will ring a mature, calm and professional approach to a role that demands excellent communication skills and understanding of protocol, together with exceptional diplomacy, judgement and initiative. Excellent written and spoken English is a pre-requisite for this role.
