Project Manager
As part of the MineTech International operations team, this is a key role based at our offices in Gloucestershire with occasional overseas visits and an emphasis on liaising with international clients and field based contractors.
Areas of responsibility include:
1.Management of field projects including; performance, financial, invoices, field budgets, equipment, mobilisation, clients, manpower, reports
2.Field visits to facilitate start ups and monitoring of projects
3.Client and contractor liaison
4.Financial control of projects
5.Management of assigned resources as directed
6.Provision of technical expertise as appropriate
7.Participation in the selection and briefing of field staff
We are looking for someone who has:
- A flexible and dynamic approach
- Excellent financial awareness and Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and on the phone
- Ability to manage a small team
- Ability to prioritise and juggle demands
- Degree level education
We would like you to have experience of:
- Living or working in remote environments
- Volunteer/NGO work, especially related to Africa
- Working in a commercial role
