Based in Washington, D.C., ACDI/VOCA is a nonprofit international development organization that delivers technical and management assistance in agribusiness systems, financial services, enterprise development, community development and food security in order to promote broad-based economic growth and vibrant civil society. ACDI/VOCA currently has approximately 90 projects in 40 countries and revenues of approximately $124 million.

We are seeking a D.C.-based Project Coordinator to provide technical, administrative, logistical, financial and programmatic supervision and backstopping to projects and programs worldwide, particularly in Latin America. Responsibilities include supporting regional business initiatives and departmental projects/activities, ensuring that all projects are carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of their respective contractual agreements, and assisting in the preparation of proposals for new business and in the marketing of ACDI/VOCA’s core competencies. Bachelor’s degree in international development, agriculture, business, economics, political science, finance, sociology, anthropology or other related field plus a minimum of two years professional experience in international development required; Master’s degree strongly preferred. Candidates must possess knowledge in international development, with strong statistical/analytical, written and verbal skills; and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet as a research tool. Experience in Latin American countries and fluency in a foreign language required, Spanish highly desirable. Knowledge of USAID and other donor programs strongly preferred.
