Position Summary:
BroadReach is currently seeking Senior Technical Experts interested in long or short term positions for upcoming USG, PEPFAR, USAID and CDC-funded global health proposal bids.
Technical areas may include, but are not limited to:
• Health Systems Strengthening
• Capacity Building and Training
• Public Private Partnerships in Health
• Health Finance
• Health Management Information Systems
• Social and Behavioral Change Communication
• Health Policy
• HIV/AIDS, TB and Infectious Diseases
• Supply Chain Management
• Laboratory and Pharmacy Systems Re-engineering
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Program Management
• Finance and Administration
Responsibilities are variable and project dependent and may include:
• Contribute to or lead the development and implementation of global health programs, projects, and services in developing countries
• Design and/or implement innovative and scalable solutions to address pressing public health needs
• Prepare detailed work plans and execute on statements of work
• Develop innovative toolkits and operating procedures and implement methodologies
• Prepare written reports, strategy documents, presentations, models, analyses, and recommendations
• Liaise and manage relationships with clients/donors, government officials, and public and private sector organizations
• Lead assessments, trainings, and workshops for in-country audiences
Required Qualifications:
• Advanced university degrees, including MD, MBA, PhD, MPH, and/or MHA
• Prior experience leading international health projects or serving as a Chief of Party, Country Representative, or Lead Technical Expert
• Significant experience, 10+ years, working in global public health
• Experience working on PEPFAR, USAID and/or CDC funded projects and programs
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• History of successful leadership initiatives with demonstrated managerial skills
• High degree of self-motivation and resourcefulness
• Consistent ability to meet deadlines and remain focused
• Proven creative and effective communication skills, with a high degree of self-confidence and strong service ethic
• Strong content or technical knowledge in a health-related field; publications in a particular field of expertise
• Desire and willingness to work in developing nations and ability to adapt
• Prior experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa is a plus
