International Evaluators for Child Labor/Forced Labor

ICF Macro is a professional services firm offering high quality research, evaluation, and management consulting services supporting business and government. Macro conducts a broad range of international research and evaluation in the areas of public health and social development; basic education; media usage and patterns; and child labor and human trafficking.


ICF Macro is seeking experienced project evaluators to conduct evaluations of overseas U.S. Department of Labor-funded projects to combat the worst forms of child labor and trafficking around the world. The most immediate need is for two evaluations in Uganda and Tanzania; we also expect evaluations in East and West Africa, Central America, and South Asia in the coming months. Specific upcoming evaluations include: Guatemala, Cambodia, Yemen, Philippines, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and Rwanda. Evaluations typically offer 29 days level of effort over a period of two months and include desk review, two week field mission to project sites in-country, stakeholder workshop facilitation at the end of the field work, and a draft evaluation report of approximately 30-45 pages.

Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of three years of project evaluation experience.
• Knowledge and experience with labor issues such as forced labor, child labor, or child protection programs.
• Knowledge of the political and economic context for the project countries.
• Excellent writing skills in English.
• Appropriate language skills for the country of assignment.
