Chief of Party, Zimbabwe

We are currently seeking a Chief of Party for an upcoming multiyear USAID program in Zimbabwe. This is an agricultural marketing and productivity program focusing on improving economic growth and increasing food security.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for program coordination, project approvals, planning and use of resources, work-plan development, project reporting, overall project monitoring and evaluation and coordination and representation of the program.
• Provide overall leadership management and general technical direction for the entire program. Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments.
• Provide overall financial and logistical direction for the entire program.
• Monitor and approve overall project allocations and expenditures.
• Ensure project achieves monitoring and evaluation plan targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with home office and donor personnel, partners and collaborators, and any other associated stakeholders.
• Represent ACDI/VOCA and the project to the public and donor community.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience managing complex programs.
• Familiarity with USAID procedures and policies is required; prior USAID Chief of Party experience is preferred.
• An M.B.A., Ph.D., M.S. or other graduate-level degree in a relevant field is required.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Prior regional experience is required, experience in Zimbabwe is preferred.
