Role Summary/Purpose:
Good knowledge on Power electronics products
Ability to demonstrate the understanding of business’ environment, products, and customer needs
Familiarization with local markets
Ability to focus on growing and maintaining customer base
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for growth of new accounts as well as focus on maintaining existing accounts
Outline, present and sell the value of products and services that can benefit customer needs
Ensure sales reach targeted volume
Identify opportunities to increase volume
Identify potential customers
Work with Growth Team to create sales campaigns to sell new to businesses
Responsible for achieving the milestones, ensure On- time deilivery committments
Key Accounting
Responds quickly to customer’s feedback and drives for quick resolution
Work with current customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs
Build upon internal relationships and develop strong relationships with customers
Conducting regular and timely review with customers
Participate in plant visits to gather samples, observe instruments, and obtain information and analyzes / interpret results and reports any corrective actions to the customer Identifying pain areas and support in implementing corrective steps
Financials
Effectively manage time and budget or expense parameters
Ensure profitability of accounts within assigned territory through proper pricing and contract management as well as service time
Ensure invoice submission and realize AR
People
Managment of staff and ensuring clear defined roles and responsibilities
Delivering timely feedback to team to achieve desired impact
Ability to reward and recognize individual and team achievements
Conduct required training of operating personnel to ensure their understanding of the parameters under which their equipment operates
Partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches
Train / coach sales representatives in the assigned territory on role responsibilities
Qualifications/Requirements:
MBA, BE+MBA
5 Years + in a marketing or sales position in power electronics domain in Africa region
