Canadian Crossroads International is seeking a dynamic, innovative and bilingual Program Director to join our leadership team.


ONE WORLD where poverty is eliminated, equality prevails and the rights of women and girls are fulfilled – this is the vision of Canadian Crossroads International (CCI). Entering our 52nd year as an international volunteer cooperation organization, we are excited to be embarking on a new strategic plan focused on fulfilling our vision.

Reporting to the Executive Director, and working collaboratively with other members of the Management Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to CCI programs and the implementation of our mission, vision, values and goals. In collaboration with the program team you will lead initiatives to develop new programs and enhance current programs.

An entrepreneurial leader and strategic manager with a commitment to women’s rights, you hold a master’s degree in international development or related field and a minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in the field of international development. You bring experience in international programming that advances women’s equality and the right to sustainable livelihoods and a commitment to excellence in international volunteering and public engagement. You have a successful track record in securing program funding and developing relationships with donors. Your ability to seize opportunities and to motivate, engage and influence others will be highly valued as will your ability to foster a collaborative working environment that supports innovation and learning. Your strong human resource management and financial management skills are complemented by highly developed analytical and writing skills.
