The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Regional Office for the Horn of Africa & Yemen, is seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:
Regional Finance Manager
Nairobi based with regular travel in the region
Key responsibilities:
Financial management and timely and correct reporting, capacity building within finance, development and implementation of financial systems and tools, support to all program and support staff within finances, budgeting and follow up on expenses.
Supervision of the Regional Controller teams.
The position requires a person who is dedicated to correctness of details while at the same time able to see tasks from a more overall perspective and a person who is able to manage a large number of different donors in a busy working environment.
Requirements:
Must possess Masters degree in accounting, financial management; Chartered Accountant
certification.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience at senior level, preferably in an international NGO.
