Management Systems International (MSI) is accepting expressions of interest from qualified local and regional candidates for a range of technical specialists needed to staff USAID Jamaica’s anticipated “More Peaceful and Transparent Democracy” Project. MSI is currently implementing the USAID’s democracy and governance project, “Community Empowerment and Transformation”.

MSI seeks candidates for a variety of technical positions, including individuals with expertise in: project management, organizational development, police strengthening, crime prevention, local governance, youth development, civil society, juvenile justice, communications, grants management, and monitoring and evaluation.

Qualifications
Candidates must fulfil the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field of expertise preferred, or at least 15 years of technically relevant experience.

• A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the field of technical background.

• Prior experience working on democracy and governance projects funded by USAID or by other major donors desired.

• Prior experience working on with Jamaican government on anti- corruption, transparency, participatory democracy, crime prevention, and community policing efforts is high desirable.

• Regional working experience is required, understanding of complex Jamaican political context required.

• Ability to work well in a team, and outstanding leadership and communication skills.

• Fluency in English required.
