In our world of plenty no child should die of hunger. But every year 15 million children do.

That’s why AED works all around the globe to improve nutrition and access to food. AED is an international nonprofit organization working in 65 countries around the world to strengthen nutrition and health. With a worldwide staff of 3,000 and a budget of $450 million AED is one of the largest and most effective global health and development organizations in the world.

In Nepal, AED staff have been working on global health and development projects for more than 20 years. We train community health workers to track nutrition information with hand held computers. We help companies better market birth control products and condoms to promote reproductive health and prevent HIV/AIDS. We strengthen peace by helping Nepalese political leaders find common ground.

AED’s breadth of experience in Nepal and our success strengthening nutrition enable us to lead a new five year $46 million comprehensive nutrition project in Nepal.

If you would like to help lead a large new nutrition project in Nepal and you have experience working on maternal and child health projects in developing countries (preferably Nepal), then e-mail your resume to nepal@aed.org (Only qualified applications will be acknowledged). Please specify preferred position in subject line.
