Expression of Interest (EOI)
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has applied for financing from the Java Reconstruction Fund to support the recovery of earthquake-affected micro- and small enterprises in Yogyakarta and Central Java provinces. Parts of this grant will be applied for “Technical Training for Micro- and Small Enterprises in Kulonprogo, Gunung Kidul, Sleman and Bantul districts (Yogyakarta Province) and Klaten district (Central Java Province)” to be implemented by a Consultant Organization.

The objective of the assignment is to identify and manage expert trainers on trade-specific topics such as design, production training, finishing, livestock health, packaging etc., and to follow up on trainings carried out by IOM during the first phase of the project (1 March 2008-31 May 2010).

IOM seeks to partner with a consultant organization with adequate capacity to implement high quality trainings in accordance with the Terms of Reference (TOR) for this service. The assignment will continue for a period of up to six months with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance.

IOM invites organizations to indicate interest in providing the services and provide information that they are qualified and eligible. Selection will be carried out in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (as of May 2004, Revised October 1, 2006 and May 1, 2010). This is a short version of the Expression of Interest (EOI) notice. Organizations may obtain the full version at the address below during IOM office hours, between 9 am to 6 pm. The EOI must be delivered by hand before October 28 2010 fourteen (14) calendar days after this advertisement.
