Vacancy Announcement: ASIA FINANCE COORDINATOR
ActionAid International (AAI) seeks applications from qualified candidates for the above post.
The Asia Finance Coordinator will provide effective leadership and coordination of the finance function in the region. This involves supporting country programmes in Asia in all aspects of financial management and performance; ensuring the compliance of international finance strategies, policies, procedures and systems; seeking improvement in financial data quality and ensuring financial integrity of the operations of Regional Office.
The ideal candidate will have minimal five years relevant work experience at the senior management level in a country programme /or internationally with post graduate degree in financial management and accounting with additional professional qualification (desirable). The candidate should have excellent knowledge about sponsorship income planning, fund accounting, cash management and managing finance of multiple donor funded programs. S/he should be able to analyse financial risk of the region, proactively engage with stakeholders, oversee control environment of the country programs, manage a multiple accountability framework and have working understanding of SUN system.We seek self-motivated people with exceptional interpersonal, communication, problem solving, coaching and analytical skills with compatibility to AAI’s mission and values and ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment. While fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Asian languages will be an asset.
This is a senior position based in the Asia office in Bangkok with frequent national and international travel. The position is offered under AAI‘s international terms and conditions.
