The Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Kuwait University invites applications for appointment at the ranks of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, for the academic year 2010-2011, in one of the following areas: International Relations, Comparative Politics, Political thoughts, Research Methodology.

Required Qualifications: Applicants should have Ph.D. degree in the area of specialization from a reputable foreign university. The applicant's GPA in first university degree should be very good. Applicants should have research experience and publications in refereed international journals in both Arabic and English languages. Applicants should have University teaching experience in reputable universities (Full time): a. Candidates for the post of Assistant professor should have at least 4 years experience. b. Candidates for the post of Associate or Full Professor should have at least 7 years experience.
